PRIAPPS CLOUDPRINT
Cloud-native print management. No print infrastructure to deploy.
Secure print release, MFP sign-in, personalized scanning and complete usage tracking—delivered as a service, with print jobs kept in your organization's own cloud storage.
PriApps CloudPrint is a cloud-native print management and document capture platform delivered from Microsoft Azure.
There are no print servers, virtual machines, gateways or background agents to deploy, patch or maintain on your network. Users work with their existing Microsoft or Google identity, while print jobs remain in your organization's own cloud storage rather than being stored in the PriApps platform.
PriApps manages the print environment. Your organization retains the documents.

Print. Hold in your cloud. Sign in. Release.
The user prints to their PriApps myQueue.
On Windows and macOS, myQueue appears as a standard printer using the operating system's native printing capabilities, so there is no PriApps background print client to install on the workstation.
Hold in your cloud
The print job is stored in your organization's own cloud storage, such as OneDrive or SharePoint, within your own cloud tenant.
The document is not stored in the PriApps CloudPrint platform.
At any compatible PriApps-managed printer or MFP, the user identifies themselves using their badge, PIN or the PriApps CloudPrint mobile app.
Release
The user selects the jobs they want to print.
PriApps CloudPrint provides the device with the job location, and the device retrieves the document directly from your organization's cloud storage.
SIGN-IN AND IDENTITY
Use the identity your organization already trusts
PriApps CloudPrint works with your organization's existing identity environment, including Microsoft Entra ID and Google identity.
Users continue to use their existing organizational credentials. PriApps CloudPrint does not create or maintain another set of user passwords.

Connected to your directory
With Microsoft Entra ID, PriApps CloudPrint synchronizes with the organization's identity directory on a continuous schedule.
When a user is disabled or removed from the directory, their PriApps CloudPrint access is automatically revoked.
Access is limited to users belonging to the organization's verified domains.
Google identity is also supported for user authentication.
Self-service badge enrollment
There is no need for administrators to manually pre-register every user's badge.
The first time a user presents their badge at a PriApps-managed device, they enter their full organizational credentials once. After successful validation, the badge is associated with their identity.
From then on, presenting the badge can sign the user in at compatible PriApps-managed devices across the organization.
A user-generated PIN provides an alternative when their badge is not available.
Card readers supplied by PriApps
PriApps can supply multi-technology card readers supporting common low- and high-frequency credential technologies, including encrypted credentials.
Mobile sign-in and release
The PriApps CloudPrint app for iOS and Android allows users to identify themselves at the device and release their print jobs directly from their smartphone.
PriApps Touch-Free can also be used for contactless print release.
AT THE DEVICE
A consistent PriApps experience across the fleet
PriApps CloudPrint delivers sign-in, secure print release and scanning through embedded PriApps applications on supported MFPs across multiple device platforms.
This gives users a familiar PriApps experience across a mixed fleet of supported printers and MFPs.

Release your way
Users can release documents using the PriApps application on the MFP control panel, the PriApps CloudPrint mobile app, PriApps Touch-Free, a web browser or supported card-reader workflows.
Different release methods can be provided to suit different users, devices and working environments.
Secure release only, if you choose
PriApps CloudPrint can be configured so documents cannot be printed directly.
Instead, each document is held for secure release and produced only when the user chooses to release it.
This helps reduce unattended documents at shared printers and MFPs.
Scans delivered as the user
Because the user is identified with their own organizational identity, scans can be sent from the individual user's account rather than from a generic shared device mailbox.
Personalized scan destinations can then be presented automatically to the user after sign-in.
This improves accountability and makes it easier to determine who originated a scan.
Searchable PDFs and OCR
Where the MFP provides its own document-processing capabilities, PriApps CloudPrint can use the device to create searchable PDF and OCR output.
For devices without these capabilities, PriApps Cloud Image Processing can provide OCR and additional document processing.
BUILT DIFFERENTLY
No print servers. No gateways. Your documents stay in your cloud.
Not every cloud print management platform is architected in the same way.
Some services described as cloud-based still depend on local print servers, virtual machines, connector software or background agents installed within the customer's environment.
PriApps CloudPrint takes a different approach.
It provides centralized cloud management without requiring PriApps print infrastructure on your network—and the content of your print jobs remains in your organization's own cloud storage.

No print servers, gateways or agents
There are no PriApps print servers, connector appliances, virtual machines or background agents to deploy and maintain on your network.
Management, authentication, print policies, queuing and reporting are provided through the PriApps CloudPrint service.
No background PriApps print client on Windows or macOS
On Windows and macOS, PriApps myQueue is presented as a standard IPP printer using native operating-system printing.
There is no PriApps background print client to install on these endpoints.
Chromebooks use a lightweight PriApps Chrome extension, while iPhone, iPad and Android devices use the PriApps mobile application.
These components can be deployed using endpoint-management tools already used by the organization, including Microsoft Intune and Mosyle.
Print jobs stay in your own cloud
Print-job content is held in your organization's own cloud storage, such as OneDrive or SharePoint.
It is not stored within the PriApps CloudPrint platform.
This allows documents to remain inside your own cloud tenant and within the security and compliance environment your organization already manages.
The device retrieves the job directly
When a user releases a document, the MFP communicates with PriApps CloudPrint.
CloudPrint provides the device with the location of the selected print job, and the device retrieves the document directly from your organization's cloud storage.
The document does not need to pass through a central PriApps print server or job repository.
This distributed architecture avoids creating a central print-job handling bottleneck and supports large user populations and high print volumes.
Protected throughout
Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS and at rest using AES-256 encryption.
User authentication is delegated to the organization's identity provider rather than requiring PriApps to maintain a separate user-password database.
Designed for modern printing
Through PriApps myQueue, IPP and support for current Windows printing technologies, PriApps CloudPrint supports Windows Ready Print and Windows protected print mode.
DEPLOYMENT
Cloud-native, without the traditional print infrastructure
Delivered as a service
PriApps CloudPrint is delivered from Microsoft Azure and maintained by PriApps.
Updates and new software versions are applied for you, removing the need for customers to run ongoing PriApps server patching and upgrade projects.
Roll out at your own pace
PriApps CloudPrint can be introduced progressively across an organization.
Existing printing and CloudPrint can operate side by side during migration, allowing individual sites, departments or groups of devices to move to the new environment in stages.
This helps organizations modernize printing without requiring a single disruptive changeover.
